Moanbaun Wood

Moanbaun Wood is a Coilte managed public wood 2 km outside Watergrasshill village. It contains two very popular walking trails. On the main trail, there are 13 signposts that give information about things to look for in the vicinity. You can see those posts marked in green on this map:

The signposts contain a short summary due to size limitations, but if you wish to know more, you can use your smartphone to scan the QR code on each and get a more detailed description. These links contain all that further information:

FEBRUARY 2022:

Project completed @ Moanbaun Woods. Funding was allocated under the ORIS Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme by Cork County Council. Car Park, Benches and Signage have been installed over the past few weeks just in time for all to enjoy the longer evenings.
KEPAK, Coillte and Watergrasshill Community Association contributed to ensure the projects completion.
