Stop 12 – Bilberry

Continuing a short distance through the Beech trees to Stop 12, we arrive at an area that is less trampled and where dappled sunlight can penetrate within the Beech grove.

Here there is an improved diversity and structure in the ground flora in an area with Bilberry, Bramble, Heather, Ivy and Broad buckler-fern are all growing well along with an occasional Rowan tree.
