An area where we need assistance. While we have success annually with grants & funding mainly through Cork County Council, we need to find more creative ways to get access to more money flowing from grant aid. The successes to date have merely scratched the surface of what is needed in our Community.
Community grants are used to fund new ideas or projects,
help establish groups and support activities that respond to our Community needs.
Grants are not a nicety but an imperative necessity for our Association.
Consultancy – Sometimes, we just need a bit of help to get over a hurdle, think through a problem, expand a service or undertake a new initiative, all ideas will be explored.
Even if one can assist or has interest in the administrative side of things:
- Review our grants programme to check it fits with Community priorities.
- Identify & attract applications from groups we perhaps haven’t engaged with yet.
- Financial admin and reporting.
- Grant management – manage Association funds collaboratively and transparently.
- Grant distribution. Ensure granting is given out fairly.
