  • Watergrasshill CFR “on call” Group – AED external heated cabinet

    Thanks to John O Connor, Community Association member, our AED heated cabinet is fully operational (the temp on it will rise over the next 12 hrs), meaning we can use this as a focal point to store our on call AED bag & accessories, this is a great addition to our volunteers who are on call weekly meaning when one goes off call they place the AED there for the next on call person to collect and so forth.… Read the rest

  • Cork County Council Update – Main Street maintainance / Glenville Road junction

    Information received pertaining to the Glenville Junction in the village:

    The road marks are purely preliminary and for Cork County Council (CCC) observation (only) of traffic and truck (HGV) movements at the junction. No decision has being made by CCC on junction build out or parking spaces

    CCC are presently considering repairing existing damaged footpaths at the village centre and leaving all parking as is and constructing minor buildouts at the Glenville junction to improve sightlines at the junction.… Read the rest
